(Rotoworld) Coach Todd Haley said Wednesday that he is "hopeful" Jamaal Charles will "grab this (Week 9 starting) opportunity by the horns."

Analysis: "He's got a great opportunity here and I know he's excited. He had a good day today," Haley said after practice. The Chiefs seem to be hoping Charles plays well enough to become their lead back for the rest of 2009. In Week 9, he faces a Jaguars defense that consistently struggles against speedier backs.
