2009 Leagues Are Now Available - Purchase Now To Save $20! (Published Mon Feb 9 7:32:51 a.m. CT 2009)

We're happy to announce the availability of 2009 leagues at MyFantasyLeague.com. This newsletter will detail how you can upgrade your 2008 league to 2009, common questions associated with this upgrade, and how to save $20 on your 2009 league purchase.

To upgrade your 2008 league to 2009, simply go to your 2008 league home page at http://football.myfantasyleague.com/2008/home/45016 , log in as the league commissioner, and follow the instructions displayed at the top of that page. With one mouse click, you'll be up and running for 2009.

If you have follow-up questions regarding this upgrade process, please be sure to read the email that you'll get after upgrading, and check out our Help Center, available from your "Help > Help Center" page, in the "League Setup" category - there are answers to several common upgrade questions there.

Since the full 2009 NFL schedule will not be announced until mid-April, for now we've set up all 2009 leagues to use a "dummy" NFL schedule. Keep that in mind when looking at 2009 NFL matchups. Once the NFL schedule is announced in April, we'll update your 2009 league to use that real schedule.

The 2009 NFL draft is not until the end of April, so for now we've added the top 100 expected draftees to our 2009 player database as NFL free agents. Once you upgrade to 2009, if you'd like owners in your league to be able to see these potential draftees, you need to make sure that your league is set up to allow owners to view NFL free agents on the "For Commissioners > Setup > Appearance Setup > Reports and Other Settings" page. And as we have in the past, we'll update our player database based on the actual NFL draft results, too.

Finally, once you've upgraded to 2009, you can use the "For Commissioners > $$ Purchase League $$" option to place your order for 2009. Full pricing details can be found at http://www.myfantasyleague.com/fantasy-football-purchase/fantasy-football-purchase-now.php, but be sure to order before June 10th, 2009, to take advantage of our $20 early bird discount offer.

And once you've purchased your 2009 league, be sure to check out our "Refer A Friend" page at http://www.myfantasyleague.com/fantasy-football-purchase/fantasy-football-refer-a-friend.php which details how you can earn a $20 discount off of your 2010 league purchase for each league you refer to us.

As always, please let us know if you have any comments, questions or suggestions for the site!

Offseason Planning and Notes (Published Mon Dec 29 9:06:45 p.m. CT 2008)

All of us at MyFantasyLeague.com wish you and your family a happy holiday season!

With the NFL regular season in the books, we're starting to think about the off-season and next year. The following are a few miscellaneous notes for your league during the offseason:

  • Free NFL Playoffs Leagues. Just because the NFL regular season is almost over doesn't mean that your fantasy football season needs to be over! We're offering free NFL Playoffs leagues again this year to help with those who are looking for a few more weeks of fantasy football action.
  • Testing New Rules. To ensure that you don't corrupt your 2008 league, please avoid making any changes to your recently-completed league scoring rules or other league rules.  Instead, use the My Leagues > Set Up A New League option to create and test as needed.
  • Using Your League In The Offseason.  Your league will be available for the entire offseason.  While all owners can use it to review league history, dynasty league owners can also continue to perform waivers and trades during the offseason.
  • Keeping Your Email Current. Shortly we'll once again send an email out to all our commissioners to let you know about our early-bird league discounts. If your email address changes in the next few months, please remember to update it on your For Commissioners > Setup > General League Setup page so you can be sure to receive any announcements.
  • 2009 Leagues. In 2008, we started offering leagues the week after the Super Bowl - our goal is to match that timeframe for this year. If you need to start a new league before then, use the My Leagues > Set Up A New League to create a new 2008 league that can be upgraded later to a 2009 league without losing any of your setup information.
  • News and Updates. Stay up-to-date on the latest information about MyFantasyLeague all year round by checking out the MyFantasyLeague.com Blog for the latest news and updates.

If you have any follow-up questions based on this newsletter, please contact us via the Help > Help Center page.

Free NFL Playoffs Fantasy Football Leagues (Published Tue Dec 9 12:34:15 p.m. CT 2008)

If you have follow-up questions or suggestions based on this newsletter, please be sure to submit a support ticket to us via your Help > Help Center page, rather than replying via email.

We're happy to announce our free NFL Playoffs leagues that run from the Wild Card games in week 18 through the Super Bowl in week 21. For more details on how to run a NFL Playoffs fantasy football league, see this page.

If you'd like to run an NFL playoff league with us, please choose one of the options below.

If your NFL playoff league is...

  • substantially different than your regular-season league containing different franchises and/or rules, then you can setup a new playoff league at any time.
  • a fresh start for your regular-season league using the same teams and rules, but different rosters, then you should use the My Leagues > Set up an NFL Playoff League Based On This League menu item at any time.
  • identical to your 2007 NFL Playoffs league that you had with us, first find your 2007 NFL Playoffs league, and then from that league, use the My Leagues > Upgrade this NFL playoffs league to a 2008 NFL playoffs league menu item from that playoff league.
  • an extension of your regular-season league using the same teams, rules, and rosters, then you should STOP and wait until your regular season has ended. Once your regular season has ended, you can then...
    1. create a copy of your regular season league by using the My Leagues > Set up an NFL Playoff League Based On This League menu item
    2. go to the new league and use the For Commissioners > Setup > Players and Rosters > Transfer Rosters page to transfer over your final, regular season rosters.

League Setup for Thursday Games (Published Tue Nov 4 1:28:43 p.m. CT 2008)

If you have follow-up questions or suggestions based on this newsletter, please be sure to submit a support ticket to us via your Help > Help Center page, rather than replying via email.

Don't forget that again this season the NFL has scheduled Thursday games from week 10 through week 16. These early games may affect your league's waiver and/or starting lineup rules.  To minimize any potential confusion for your owners, it's a good idea to verify your setup and ensure that it's defined as you had intended. Also be sure to remind your owners about the Thursday game this week!

  • Starting Lineups.  If your league's lineup deadline as defined in the For Commissioners > Setup > Weekly Lineup Setup screen is:
    • Kickoff - all players must be started by the kickoff of the first game each Thursday.
    • Early - players in early games (Thursday-Saturday) are locked at kickoff of their individual game and all Sunday & Monday players must be submitted by Sunday at 1 pm ET.
    • Gametime - lineup submissions will continue as they have all season.
    • Calendar - be sure to have either 'Lineup Deadline For All Games' and/or 'Lineup Deadline For Thursday Games' defined in the For Commissioners > Setup > League Calendar Setup for each of weeks 12-16.
  • Copy Lineups.   If your league also chooses to copy lineups for those owners that do not submit a lineup for the current week, please be sure to understand your three options on the Setup > Starting Lineup Setup screen and how they will work with your Lineup Deadlines.
  • Waivers.  If your league's waiver settings as defined in the For Commissioners > Setup > League Calendar Setup screen include:
    • A waiver event with an end time of "Kickoff of week xx" then be advised that kickoff of week 10 occurs Thursday, November 6th.
    • A waiver request or blind bidding waiver event that extends beyond Thursday morning, then waivers will not process in time for owners to include any player awards in their Thursday lineups.  You may want to use the League Calendar Setup to edit your week 10-16 waiver events.
  • Standings.  Please note that if you selected to have your standings update As Soon As Preliminary (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) Results Are Available, then on Friday morning your standings will display preliminary wins/losses for the week based on these Thursday games.

With a little time spent checking your settings now, you might be able to avoid any confusion next week.

MyFantasyLeague.com Partners with Rotowire.com to Provide Better Injury Updates (Published Mon Sep 15 11:05:49 p.m. CT 2008)

Starting in Week 3, MyFantasyLeague.com will be updating its player injury information and procedures. Instead of relying on the official injury report from the NFL, which isn't released until Friday evenings, we will now use Rotowire.com as our official source of player injury designations. This will result in more timely and accurate injury information for your league since the injury information for players will be updated daily instead of just once a week on Friday night. The same designations will still be used for players (IR, Out, Doubtful, Questionable, and Probable), so you can still use the same fantasy injured reserve rules.

Additional details about this change to be aware of:

  • The Wednesday night "Practice Report" updates and player designations will no longer be used.
  • Players that are injured on Sunday or Monday will now be updated much sooner with an injury status.
  • Players that are on various unofficial injury lists, such as the PUP list or the Suspended list, will now be listed as "Out".
  • Players on a bye week that are still injured will have an injury designation during their bye week even though they would otherwise not appear on the official NFL injury report for that week.
  • The first update with this new system will occur on Wednesday evening (Sept 17th).

We're confident that this new injury information will be much more timely and useful from a fantasy football perspective compared to the previous reliance on the official NFL injury updates. However, if you do not want to use these more timely updates for whatever reason, and only want to rely on the Friday injury report for your league, you can create a new "No Injured Reserve Moves Allowed" league calendar event that ends Friday night when the final official injury report will be updated for your league.

As always, if you have any additional questions, suggestions or comments regarding this change, please see our Help Center

NFL Postpones BAL @ HOU From Week 2 To Week 10 (Published Sat Sep 13 6:06:26 p.m. CT 2008)

This weekend's game between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans has been postponed until week 10 by the NFL, and therefore the Ravens and Texans have a bye this week. This announcement was made at 6:30pm ET Saturday evening, and we've updated your MyFantasyLeague.com NFL schedule accordingly.

What this means to you and your league-mates includes:

  1. Check your starting lineups to make sure that owners do not have any Ravens or Texans starting, and if they do, make them aware of this schedule change so they can change their lineup accordingly. Otherwise, they'll get zero points for those players for week 2!
  2. If you use MyFantasyLeague.com for a survivor pool, make sure all owners are aware of this schedule change, and update their pick accordingly in case they've selected the Texans or Ravens to win this week. With survivor pools, only winners advance, so if they have a week 2 pick of the Ravens or Texans, they cannot win, therefore, they will be eliminated.
  3. If you use MyFantasyLeague.com for a confidence pool, make sure all owners re-submit all week 2 confidence picks, as now there are only 15 games to choose from, and not 16.

In addition, the NFL has changed the schedule for the Cincinnati Bengals for both weeks 8 and 10. See the nfl.com article for full details on this change.

As always, please check out your Help Center if you have any follow-up questions regarding this change

The MyFantasyLeague.com Support Staff

NFL Official Stat Changes (Published Thu Sep 11 10:59:52 a.m. CT 2008)

Every week, a couple of days after all of the games are final and your fantasy scores have been calculated, the Elias Sports Bureau (which is the official statistician for the NFL) reviews all of the games on tape and sometimes issues official stat corrections if needed. For example, one of the most common stat changes is when they award a sack to a defensive player that wasn't originally credited with the sack during the game. This can happen when the wrong player's number was written down as part of the official scoring during the game. Another relatively common example is when a passing play is changed to a rushing play (or vice versa) because after reviewing the tape, they determine that the pass was actually a backwards lateral instead of a forward pass.

Unfortunately, there is neither a clearly defined timeframe in which statistics changes are made, nor a single place to get information on these updates. Once we are made aware of an official change, we work with our stats providers to verify the change and then post them on the Help > Whats New > Official Stat Changes screen for you and your owners to review. Then you can use the For Commissioners > Statistic Changes menu item if you decide to apply them to your league. Check out our Latest Blog Post for additional background and info on official stat changes.

For those of you that want to apply these changes for your league automatically each week, we've also added a new option this year to allow you to do that. Just check the box near the top of the For Commissioners > Statistic Changes screen, and then they will applied each week for you. Note that there is not a set time for them to be reported, but they generally will appear on our site either late Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

GameDay has some of the following advantages over our standard web based live scoring:

Are you _really_ ready for some fantasy football? (Published Mon Sep 1 10:00:12 a.m. CT 2008)

(OK, so we're abusing the most most over-used cliche this time of the year, but we wanted to get your attention. Hopefully we have it now!)

In the next few weeks, we'll be asked a lot of questions from our customers regarding their league setup. With a little extra effort now, you can be a step ahead of the game, and make sure your league is truly ready for the start of the fantasy football season, and don't face any of these early season setup issues.

The most common questions for the first week include:

  1. Why aren't my league scores correct? To avoid this problem, please take a few minutes to review your Top Performers/Player Stats report, which shows all 2007 and 2006 player scores using your 2008 league scoring system. The more time you spend reviewing those scores for accuracy now, the fewer scoring problems you'll have in week 1. (Note: if your league carried over from last year with the same scoring rules, then you're all set now).
  2. Why aren't my waivers working correctly? Waiver setup can be one of the most complex parts of MyFantasyLeague.com. If you're still struggling with waiver setup, we'd definitely encourage you to take a close look at the several pre-packaged waiver options we offer on our Select Packaged Waiver Rules page. One of our pre-packaged options is sure to come close to meeting your exact waiver needs, and it is far easier to just select a pre-packaged option than to custom create your own setup.
  3. Why can't I view live scoring for my league? Only purchased (and free trial leagues) will receive live scores for week 1 and beyond. If you have not yet purchased your league, please be sure to do so. The easiest way for you to see if your league has been purchased is to look at the "For Commissioners" menu item. If you see a "League Invoice" option, that means your league is paid for, but if you see a "Purchase League" option, that means it's not!
  4. How do I get faster and more comprehensive live scoring? While our web based live scoring is completely functional and accurate, for those of you who have Microsoft Windows PCs, we have an optional downloadable program called "GameDay" that offers faster and more comprehensive live scoring - see this page for more details on exactly what GameDay offers. Keep in mind that if you ran GameDay in 2007, you'll need to download the 2008 version - see this page for full details.

The more time you spend reviewing the above items, the more likely you'll have a great week 1 (and beyond) of the season here on MyFantasyLeague.com!

As always, if you have any follow-up questions, suggestions or ideas for us, please be sure to check out our Help Center.

How To Have A Modern Draft (Published Fri Aug 22 3:01:44 p.m. CT 2008)

The scene is almost perfect - the ice-cold beverages are ready. The pizza's been ordered. The chips are open. It's almost time…

The owner with pick 1.01 calls out "LaDainian Tomlinson", and you're putting an old-fashioned sticker on an old-fashioned draft board? Or worse, just writing a name down somewhere? Why are you still running your draft like it's 1998?

If all of your owners will be together at one physical location, and you're looking for a much easier and more modern way to run your draft, read on...

  1. Find a league-mate with an HDTV. Ask around a bit - chances are good that one or more of your league-mates have one. One of the many cool things about an HDTV is the little connector on the back called "PC" - that allows you to connect a PC to your HDTV, and use your HDTV as a huge computer monitor.
  2. Connect a computer to that HDTV via the video output jack on the back of your computer. Any computer will do - laptop or desktop machine.
  3. Find a fantasy football draft software program to run your draft for you. We offer FFLM for free (see http://myfantasyleague.wordpress.com/2008/08/15/draft-with-fflm/) and we've also partnered with FanDraft (see http://myfantasyleague.wordpress.com/2008/08/17/draft-with-fandraft/), so you have your pick of draft software.
  4. Draft away!
Some of the great things about doing a draft like this are:
  1. Everyone can immediately see what players are available, what players have been taken, who has what roster needs, and more - no need to for everyone to manually track this on their own, and ask dozens of questions whether or not a mid-level player is still available.
  2. Draft programs have a ton of cool features - audio integration (you can hear player names announced when they're drafted!), integrated timer to let people know how much time they have left on the clock, franchise logo integration, and more.
  3. When your draft is over, no need to manually enter your draft results into MyFantasyLeague.com - both of the above programs offer ways to immediately upload your draft results to your league home page in a matter of seconds.
  4. Immediately after you upload your draft results, you can read a system-generated recap of your draft, complete with a draft grade. To see your “Draft Recap” report after you've uploaded your league draft results, just go to your “Reports > League > Draft” report, and then click on the “Draft Recap” link at the top of that page.

During a break in your draft, here's something else to discuss - a better way of managing league finances. If your league is like a typical league managing league finances - from getting everyone to cough up money at the beginning of the year until getting the commish to pay everyone at the end of the year - is a royal pain. Enter LeagueSafe.com. LeagueSafe.com is a service that handles all of your league finances for you - from nagging owners who haven't paid to the end of the season payout. Check out their web site for more details, but best of all, your MyFantasyLeague.com league is now integrated with LeagueSafe.com, so all you have to do is go to your For Commissioners > Setup > Manage League Finances With LeagueSafe.com option, and in no time you'll have your league up and running on LeagueSafe.com.

As always, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions based on this newsletter, feel free to contact us via your Help > Help Center page. Also, don't forget that new this year is our MyFantasyLeague.com blog at http://myfantasyleague.wordpress.com/ - there, we'll keep all customers up-to-date on the most recent things going on inside MyFantasyLeague.com.

Player Database Updates from Rotoworld.com (Published Mon Aug 18 5:11:26 p.m. CT 2008)

As part of our on-going partnership with Rotoworld.com, we will be updating our player database and changing the position of several players to match the position on the Rotoworld.com Depth Charts. The complete list of player position changes is shown on this page. These changes will take effect on Wednesday morning, August 20th. Most of the changes involve individual defensive players, so they will have minimal impact, if any, on standard (non-IDP) leagues.

For all leagues, especially IDP leagues, we strongly suggest you review the entire list of player position changes to understand how it might impact your league rules. If you have roster position limits, and you already have players on rosters in your league for this season, then some of the rosters may become invalid after these changes.

We understand that not all leagues will agree with these position changes, and some leagues will not want them to take effect. If your league wants to over-ride some or all of these changes, then the commissioner can use the For Commissioners > Setup > Players and Rosters > Change Player Position screen to change any player's position to any other position as needed.

As always, if you have any comments, questions or suggestions about this change, please feel free to send us a Support Ticket.

Sincerely,
The MyFantasyLeague.com Support Staff

August 2008: Order Today To Save $10 & More Enhancements: Charts, Player Profile Updates, More. (Published Sun Aug 3 8:51:47 p.m. CT 2008)

Thanks again for taking the time to set up a 2008 league on MyFantasyLeague.com. This newsletter will keep you informed of off-season activities on the site.

If you haven't already, be sure to purchase your 2008 league by August 4th to save $10. Full purchase details are available on this page. To double-check if your league has been paid for, check the "For Commissioners" menu - if it has a "League Invoice" menu option, that means you're all set for the 2008 season (and that page will contain all of the relevant information regarding your purchase), otherwise, you can use the "Purchase League" option to pay for your league.

We're happy to announce even more site changes that have been completed in July:

  1. Updated Player Information Report - the player information report (that's the report you get when you click on a player name) has a lot of new information added to it, including: player photo, height/weight, birthdate/age, college, draft information, easier access to recent player news, and historical stats going back to the 2001 season. See Brett Favre's page for example.
  2. Three Charts - there are three new charts on the site to allow you to better visualize league data. They include:
    1. Reports > League > Starter Points By Position - the chart at the bottom of this report (also available as a home page module called "Starter Points By Position") allows you to quickly see which fantasy team is the strongest or weakest in your league at any given position. (Sample)
    2. Reports > League > Points Allowed By Position - the chart at the bottom of this report (also available as a home page module called "Points Allowed By Position") shows you what NFL teams give up what fantasy points, broken out by position. This is helpful for determining what NFL matchups you might want to exploit, or avoid, when selecting fantasy players. (Sample)
    3. Weekly Results - this chart is displayed on the "Franchise Information" report for each franchise, and it's also available as a league home page module called "Weekly Results Chart". It details the league-wide high score, low score, as well as one franchise score for all weeks of the season in a line chart format. (Sample)
If you'd like to see the above charts in action with a live league, check out our sample league, or if you had a league with us last year, your 2007 league on MyFantasyLeague.com.
  3. Nightly Email For Your Player News - your "For Owners > Franchise Setup > Advanced" page has a new option in the "Send Email For:" section titled "My Player News (within the last day, sent at 3am ET)" allowing you to get a nightly email from the site whenever there is news to report about any player on your roster.
  4. Top System-Wide Starters - like our "Top Adds" and "Top Drops" feature, the Top Starters report details what percent of the time a given player is started in a league, across all leagues in our entire system.
  5. 2 New Skins - Footballguys.com and Rotowire.com skins are now available on the For Commissioners > Setup > Appearance Setup > Select A Skin page, allowing you to select a look for your site to mimic one of your favorite fantasy football web sites.
  6. More Home Page Messages - with the amount of cool add-ons that our Community Forum members are coming up with, there's always a need for more places to put them, so we've increased the maximum number of home page messages available on the site from 12 to 15.
  7. Draft Recap Report - like the "Fantasy Recap" report we announced earlier in the off-season, we've got a beta version of a "draft recap" report that we'd like some customer feedback on. Once your 2008 draft is over (or, you can go back to your 2007 league if it was with us), you can go to the "Reports > League > Draft" page, and then click on the "Draft Recap (BETA)" link at the top of that page, and see a system-generated write-up analyzing and grading everyone's draft. We're hoping this fun report is a great way to kick off some league trash-talking, starting with your league draft! We are still considering this beta-quality, which means you may well find bugs with it, or things that just don't look right - if you do see anything for us to improve on, please let us know!

Also, don't forget about our referral program, whereby you can earn $10 off your 2009 league purchase with us - see this page for more details.

Finally, be sure to check our our Mock Drafts to help prepare for your upcoming draft - there are drafts starting every 10 minutes, including recently-added 16 team mock drafts.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions about the above enhancements.

Sincerely, MyFantasyLeague.com

April Newsletter - Fantasy Recaps, Free Mock Drafts, More Site Upgrades (Published Mon Apr 7 2:02:02 p.m. CT 2008)

We're happy to announce even more off-season site upgrades here at MyFantasyLeague.com, including:

  1. Fantasy Recap Report - This cool new report will help take league trash-talking to a whole new level! It's a computer-generated post-game recap of all fantasy matchups in your league for each week of the season, complete with highlighting top player performances, owner quotes, and calling out when an owner could have won a game with better starting lineup choices. To top it off, when an owner sees his own default quote, they can just click on that system-generated quote, and replace it with his own, custom quote, as he sees fit! To get a better feel for exactly what this report looks like, go to your 2007 league home page, and then check out the "Reports > Franchise > Fantasy Recap" option.
  2. Free Public Mock Drafts - Want to join a public mock draft on MyFantasyLeague.com? Go to this page and select one to join!
  3. More Weather Information - Several pages have been updated to include a brief forecast for today for the NFL city where a game is being played. These pages include the "For Owners > Submit Lineups" page, the "Reports > NFL > NFL Schedule" report, and the "Next Week's NFL Schedule" home page module. Note that if you hold your mouse over the forecast, you'll see the daily high and low temperature in a tooltip.
  4. More Live Draft Room Enhancements - In addition to the enhancements we announced last month, we've done even more for the live draft room this month, including:
    1. Each individual owner can select the "voice" to use for the audio announcements in the live draft room: David, Callie, Shouty or None.
    2. To make it easier to see players, the list of available players now displays the top 10 players.
    3. Starting lineup requirements for your league are displayed.
    4. The "Draft Log" is now scrollable, allowing you to keep better track of what recent draft events have happened.

Don't forget to take full advantage of our Customer Referral Program, which allows you to earn big discounts on your 2009 league purchase with us!

Finally, don't forget that the NFL schedule displayed on your 2008 MyFantasyLeague.com league is a dummy/made up schedule. When the official NFL schedule gets released (which should be mid-April), your 2008 league will be updated to reflect this change.

  1. Hardware Upgrades - we've already made several significant hardware upgrades this off-season to our servers, ensuring that we can deliver the best product possible for 2008 and beyond.
  2. Quicker Live Scoring Updates - for the 2007 season, the web-based live scoring page automatically updated every 90 seconds, where in 2008, this page will automatically update every 60 seconds, allowing you to get even faster live scoring results. 3. Two New Home Page Modules - the "Home Page Setup" page has been updated with two new home page modules: Bar Chart and Draft Tracker.
  4. Live Draft Enhancements - there have been several enhancements made to the "Live Draft Room", including: Current roster for all franchises, roster limits (and roster position limits, if your league uses them), "I'm Away" checkbox for the times you have to walk away from your computer in the middle of a live draft, a more obvious indication when a draft pick has been made, and the league's "Draft Status Log" has been updated.

  6. My Draft List Enhancements - the "For Owners > My Draft List" page has a few enhancements, including an "import" option to allow an owner to copy/paste (or type in) his "My Draft List", and you can now use the "Top Performers" player listing to start building your "My Draft List" from.

  9. Fixed Dollar Amount Salary Increase - the "For Commissioners > Setup > Salary Cap Setup > General Salary Cap Setup" page has been updated to allow a commissioner to change all player salaries at once by a fixed dollar amount, in addition to the percentage change that we previously offered.

    1. A brand-new version of the editor has been installed, fixing some of the problems with it reported by our customers.
    2. There are two new Advanced Editor templates, available from the "Templates" icon, allowing you to easily create a new MFL-standard home page data table, as well as easily embed a YouTube.com video into your league home page.

With six months until the start of the 2008 season, we have lots more planned for future site enhancements.

In addition, here's a re-cap of some of the more significant in-season enhancements we added to the site during last season, in case you missed these features before.

  1. All-Time Series Records Reports - there is a fourth report under the Reports > Records heading, showing you all-time series records across all seasons that you've had a league on MyFantasyLeague.com.
  2. Live Scoring Text Messages - the For Owners > Setup > Franchise Setup > Advanced page has been updated to allow you to receive fantasy score text messages on your cell phone periodically throughout the day on Sundays when games are on-going.

As always, please let us know if you have any comments, questions or suggestions for the site!
