The first few auctions were deleted in order to switch to proxy bidding.  Sorry.
Commissioner Date Sun Jun 22 3:18:09 p.m. ET 2008
The six won players who were put back up for auction have also had their 2nd auctions deleted as a more expedient method of fixing the roster page worked.

Now, when I pull up the bids page, I see this "In order to have enough money to completely fill your roster, you may bid no more than $-1 on any one player. "

I suppose this was because you had to take the deleted auction's salary out manually, after my last bid (on MB III) was placed.  If someone will bid one more buck on MBIII, it will correct me. :-)  Anyone?

I'll pass on $48

I'm not sure I understand, the problem, but I'll check it out.  One thing we've learned about auctions here is that messing with the format during the auction is probably not too smart until you are very very familiar with all the commish tools.  I'm pretty comfortable with MFL's commish interface and the options here are substantial, but the salary cap thing threw us off and well... live and learn.  I should have stuck by the idea of putting the 6 players back through.  When I deleted those auctions and assigned  them at their respective salaries they did not get deducted from available auction funds.  So I found a feature that deducted "salaries" and thought everything was good to go.

Okay so JEB has bid so much money that he no longer has the funds for 18 players but he's blaming me and MFL for the problem.

I'm wondering if we all have the ability to do that or if the adjustments I made correcting the rosters page and setting proxy bidding up left the five of us with deleted auctions vulnerable to our own bad math?

Anyway, I have three hours to see if I can find a solution or hope someone overbids the already overbid Barber.  Btw, I have no problem doing that, so no worries.  It's just a mock, but I would prefer a better solution.

Is there a way to see who bid 46 or 47 for this (or at least have them volunteer that info up)?  They should technically be on the hook for it at this point, though it may affect other auctions as well.
JEB Date Wed Jun 25 2:06:35 p.m. ET 2008
Turtle bid it up to $45 or 46 with minutes left to go, can't remember which amount, but that was the source of my  "damn you Turtle" comment

And no, I wasn't blaming you, Commish, just bringing it to everyone's attention.  It won't let me bid any more players (i.e.- to fill out my remaining $1 slots)

Also, I think Barber is still several $ under the averages that I have seen so far for 2008 ;-)

I didn't really think you were blaming me.  I was just being goofy.

Wth, I'm a Cowboy fan and there doesn't seem to be a handy solution.  I'll bump Barber again.  I think he'll be featured more this year myself.

My bigger concern is if all of us or just five of us have the ability to over extend ourselves.  If it's all of us, then the problem is MFL's.  If it's just five of us then the adjustments I made on the fly created the issue.
JEB Date Wed Jun 25 2:49:46 p.m. ET 2008
I think it's fixed now that you have adjusted the salaries (and placed the new bid).  The problem was that my bid was already over my 'allotment'  after you deducted the appropriate amounts for the deleted auctions.  I think now it has the allotments correct, and any bids we place from here out should be correct all around.  At least that's what it looks like from my end.
Commissioner Date Wed Jun 25 3:38:15 p.m. ET 2008
I started Barber over again.  It was a little unfair for me to have to go through 25% of my budget like that when I was exploring a different stategy.
